Des winning the race from Lyndhurst (505 km) against 5,010 birds and with this also the mayor championship youngbirds 2009 in the South Australian Homing Pigeon Association (SAHPA)e
 
The winning pigeon, "Silver Breakaway" is a crossing Janssen x van Loon.
She was bred from John Hofman and she was bred from "Tsunami Bond", a son out of  "Storm" x "Autumn".
Dam to "Silver Breakaway" is "Grizzle", a yearling Van Loon out of  Silver Princess"Silver Princess" x "Silver Knight".
All parents birds mentioned a direct imported pigeons from Hans Eijerkamp and Sons.
