10/12/2012 - 1st S B Messines against 4,899 pigeons
In 2001 these fanciers bought a cock, the NL01-1414728 "Cego", from Hans and Evert-Jan Eijerkamp.
This cock is an Eijerkamp-Janssen out of a grandson of the "Bange Bond".
He became the father of the "741" and the "236".
The "741"became the General Ace Pigeon and the Ace Pigeon Middle Distance in the district of Coimbra, in which circa 6,000 pigeons participate per race.
The "236" won the Silver Ring in the district of Coimbra and earned various top performances such as:
- 1st S B Messines against 4,899 pigeons
- 3rd Villanueva Del Fresno against 6,385 pigeons
- 4th Zafra against 5,960 pigeons
- 11th Evora against 6,512 pigeons
- 22nd Pueblo D. Rodrigo against 6,042 pigeons
- 36th Trujillo against 4,723 pigeons
- 61st Zagua against 6,346 pigeons
Gabriel and Miguel think it is fantastic that the descendants of "Cego" are still winning in the second, third and fourth generation.
The cross these descendants with Eijerkamp-Janssen pigeons in whose blood lines we often find pigeons such as "Silvester", "Romario", Chicago"Chicago", "Flits" etc.
In 2011 Gabriel and Miguel won 6 first prizes in the club with grandchildren (3) and great grandchildren (3) of the tremendous "Cego".
They are very grateful to Hans and Evert-Jan Eijerkamp for this fantastic breeding cock, which they purchased.
