In 2015 the Eijerkamp team bought several youngsters in the loft of Gerard and Bas Verkerk and in this small group of pigeons some pigeons turned out to be excellent breeders and in this we want to introduce you the Solange Junior"Solange Junior"
 
Hans and Evert-Jan needed to grab deep in their pockets to buy this direct son for one of the best pigeons ever raced in the Verkerk lofts, who are the loft to be beaten on the One-Day-Long Distance in Holland for years already. Solange Junior"Solange Junior" is bred from "Tyson" x Olympic Solange"Olympic Solange" which certainly is one of the best hens ever raced in the champions loft of Verkerk.

Last week (06-02-2021), a full brother for Solange Junior"Solange Junior" was sold for the astonishing amount of EUR 170,000 as second most expensive Dutch pigeon ever. This cock, "Son Olympic Solange" was the foundation cock for the partnership Derksen – v.d. Keuken from Almelo and was bred in the same year as the Solange Junior"Solange Junior". So, two "golden breeders" out of the same couple in 1 season!!!
