John Marles is one of the many fanciers in Northern America who races his pigeons successfully in Spring Hill - Florida. John Marles still is Canadian citizen but most of the time he spends in the warm climate of Florida. In Brooksville he is owner of Sylvan Lofts and racing in 2 different organizations; The Gulf Coast Homing Club and in the Tampa Bay Concourse. As many fanciers also John always is on the search for top pigeons and for that he contacted Henk Jurriens late 2020 as he wanted to add 1 or 2 Eijerkamp pigeons into his small but very strong breeding loft. When he made up his discission it took a while, because of the quarantine periods, before he could enter his new pigeons into his stockloft. Both the pigeons he bought now already turned out to be excellent but especially the "Red Jackpot 502" is unique breeding cock as his offspring performing outstanding in as well Canada as in the United States of America. John is participating in "Little Belgium" as this is how the Spring Hill club is called because of the many and strong competition. On the site of the Club, it says "The Gulfcoast Homing Club (The GHC) is located 35 miles north of Tampa on the beautiful west coast of Florida. We are the largest Pigeon Club in America with 200 members and growing monthly. Our membership is a who"s-who of many of the well-known names of the pigeon sport".
