Araf & Ahnaf Loft wins 1st National Shirajgoni against 7,411 pigeons bred from granddaughter Olympic Vivian

Pigeon racing is becoming increasingly popular in Bangladesh, with a growing number of fanciers and participating pigeons. The capital city of Dhaka now has several pigeon clubs, which has led to the creation of national races with many fanciers competing against enormous pigeon numbers, making it even more attractive for the predominantly young generation of pigeon lovers.
 
On one of the national races from Shirajgonj, where 7,411 pigeons were entered, it was a cock from Araf & Ahnaf Loft that took the win. Araf & Ahnaf Loft represents sports enthusiast Md. Sohel Rana, who had the fastest pigeon on this race held on February 11th. It was a superb achievement in which Md. Sohel Rana also claimed the 3rd price.

This blue cock is the national winner against 7,411 pigeons, which covered the distance of 97.815 km at a speed of 1478 m.p.m. Given the golden genes of this pigeon, it is certainly no coincidence.

The father is a direct pigeon from Andreas Drapa from Germany and grandson of Dirk v.d. Bulck"s famous "Kittel".

The mother is a daughter of NL15-1363398NL15-1363398, the super son of Olympic Vivian"Olympic Vivian", who is one of the top breeders at the Mynuddin Ahamed loft. Descendants of this "Son Olympic Vivian" have already produced multiple winners in Bangladesh. Of course, Olympic Vivian"Olympic Vivian" was also a pigeon of exceptional class at the Eijerkamp lofts, winning three first prizes and being the Olympic pigeon mid-distance in Nitra in 2013. This "Son Olympic Vivian", NL15-1373398, was paired with a daughter of another Eijerkamp pigeon, NL08-1100079NL08-1100079, which is again a daughter of "Lady Christje". There is a high concentration of Heremans-Ceusters blood in the dam of Md. Sohel Rana"s national winner.
