Ydo and Elco Homma from Steggerda win 1. Heusden-Zolder against 2,142 pigeons with a granddaughter of New Euro

The brothers Ydo and Elco Homma had a great start to the season with their hens consistently performing well in all the races. However, the highlight of their success was undoubtedly their magnificent victory from Heusden-Zolder in their joint competition against 2,142 pigeons with a granddaughter of New Euro"New Euro". In addition to their first-place finish, they also secured the 2^nd prize in this race.
The brothers repeated their success this past weekend, winning 1^st and 5^th prize Etroeungt against 2,354 pigeons. They bred their second-placed pigeon from a daughter of Rogerke Bolt"Rogerke Bolt".

This hen was certainly not new to success as she had already achieved several impressive results. She won a.oo. 20^th Weert against 2,366 pigeons, 7^th Boxmeer against 798 pigeons, 47^th in Duiven against 1,932 pigeons.
This blue hen, NL22-8131952, was bred from "Dynamic Arnold," a pure Arnold Paalman pigeon from the top hen "Blauwe Jet" who has won numerous top prizes, including 1^st Tienen against 7,823 pigeons.

The mother of NL22-8131952NL22-8131952 is "Nelly", a daughter of New Euro"New Euro" X "Lady Bolt," which was acquired in 2021 from Gert and Frans Rondags. Lady Bolt"Lady Bolt" herself has won 6 pure first prizes. New Euro"New Euro" has now become one of the absolute top breeders, as since 2019, there has been at least one son or daughter each season that has ranked among the top 10 National Ace Pigeons in the Netherlands.

The 703 was bred from a direct Eijerkamp pigeon, NL21-1668430, which is a daughter of Rogerke Bolt"Rogerke Bolt", the 2^nd National Ace Pigeon Speed Yearlings KBDB and winner of 6 pure first prizes. The mother of NL21-1668430 is "Gerda," a daughter of Euro Junior"Euro Junior", who herself was the 12^th National Ace Pigeon Young Birds Midfond PIPA in 2018.
As a young pigeon, NL22-8102703 won 6 prizes at the Homma brothers' loft in Steggerda, and this past Saturday, she secured 5^th  prize Etroeungt (345 km) against 2,354 pigeons.
