Simon Wolf (Switzerland) wins the Super Final at Talent Quatro with a 50% Eijerkamp pigeon.
Simon Wolf is no stranger to One Loft races, and we can say that he is a true specialist. There are races in which we participate under the name Team Eijerkamp/Wolf.
Simon also entered pigeons in the Talent Quatro race in the Czech Republic and managed to win the Super final there.
The race was held from Vrpolje in Croatia over a distance of 509km.
Because of a heatwave with temperatures reaching up to 38°C, the race was postponed for a week.
The 853 pigeons in the final were released at 8 o'clock with a southwest wind.
Three pigeons arrived simultaneously, and Simon's "The 283" crossed the antenna first after 6 hours and 25 minutes, achieving a speed of 1322 m.p.m.
It was a challenging final because only 84 pigeons returned on the first day.
The first pigeon has "Asadi Junior" NL16-1254672NL16-1254672 as its father, which was bred from Asadi"Asadi" x B13-6151284B13-6151284 "Sister De Power".
In the semi-final, "The 283" already won the 5th prize out of 1114 pigeons over a distance of 410km.
The 283 is also the 3rd Super ASS pigeon and contributed to winning the National CUP for Switzerland.
Simon's second pigeon came in 21st place and has "Ivory Grizzle" NL22-8228708NL22-8228708 as its mother.
