Peter Beentjes from Heemskerk is one of the top speed race players in Amalgamation 6 - Noord Holland. Despite having a relatively small team, Peter consistently excels in speed races, with many of his achievements attributed to descendants from Eijerkamp pigeons. In 2020, a joint breeding took place, where Peter received two young pigeons from a special pairing of his top pigeon, ‘654 hen, when coupled to topbreeder Magic Euro"Magic Euro" The descendants of this pair have brought Peter much success and top rankings. As a special recognition, after a lottery, he was also gifted a young pigeon in 2022, which quickly developed into an outstanding breeding cock. This pigeon, NL22-8230594NL22-8230594, has since become the father of ‘Storm Polly’, who in the 2024 season was twice named Provincial Ace Pigeon and also ranked 5. National Ace Pigeon in the Short-distance in the NPO/WHZB competition for the Netherlands.
