Hans Senior Center Officially Opened 2025
In 2025, Hans Eijerkamp is 91 years old and can look back on an exceptional career of more then 75 years at the highest level of pigeon sport. Throughout all those years, one wish remained: creating a dedicated and comfortable place for the senior pigeons that played such an important role in the success of Eijerkamp.
That wish has now become reality with the opening of the Hans Senior Center, in dutch: "Hans Seniorencentrum."
The new Senior Center consists of modern lofts with spacious outdoor aviaries, designed to provide optimal comfort, fresh air and freedom of movement. Here, former top racers and breeding pigeons can enjoy their senior years in excellent health and calm surroundings.
These pigeons form the foundation of many generations of champions and continue to be treated with the care and respect they deserve.
During the opening, Evert Jan Eijerkamp confirmed that the Senior Center will always be maintained and preserved as part of the Eijerkamp facilities.
