Top Performances Continue: Victory in Pyramids OLR & Strong Results in Derby Camelo Yupi
Once again, we are proud to report outstanding results in the One Loft Races, confirming the strength and consistency of our pigeons on the international stage. Last week we won multiple 1st prizes and now again!
On April 29, 2026, Team Eijerkamp-Wolf achieved a fantastic 1st prize in the 300 km race at the Pyramids International OLR, competing against no fewer than 3,563 pigeons entered, with 1,346 pigeons competing in this race. The birds were released at 07:20 AM, and under tough conditions, our beautiful grizzle hen NL25-1095036NL25-1095036 delivered a remarkable performance. She arrived at 11:39 AM, completing the race in 4 hours and 19 minutes, with a velocity of 1161 m/min, clearly indicating a demanding race.
This special hen not only performs at the highest level but is also bred from proven top lines. She is a granddaughter of Son Romario 199"Son Romario 199" (Simon Wolf) and comes from our hen "Marjolein", a daughter of Eva"Eva", one of the best daughters of worldfamous Goed Grijs, x "Silver Power", originating from the strong Leideman bloodline.
Earlier this month, on April 9, 2026, during the 172 km race, she already demonstrated her class by winning 12th prize. With now four races completed in this One Loft Race series, she continues to impress with her consistency and quality. We are very eager to see how she will develop in the upcoming races.
Also a Super Result in Derby Camelo Yupi One Loft Race
Last weekend, on April 26, 2026, the final extra race over 700 km took place in the Derby Camelo Yupi One Loft Race, once again delivering a top performance for our team H and EJ Eijerkamp. With 3,355 pigeons entered and 1,424 competing in this extra race, our NL25-1096786NL25-1096786 secured an excellent 16th prize.
This pigeon had already proven its capabilities earlier, winning 75th prize in the 2nd final (500 km) on April 10, 2026. The consistency shown across these tough races highlights the strong genetics behind this bird.
NL25-1096786NL25-1096786 is a direct child of Triton x Samantha, a breeding pair that continues to confirm their exceptional value. Just last week, on April 24, 2026, we already shared that Triton and Samantha are the proud parents of the 1st prize winner in Hot Spot 2 (185 km) against 2,117 pigeons in the Derby Moledo Yearlings 2026.
In addition, on April 23, 2026, team H and EJ Eijerkamp achieved an 21st prize in the Derby Aal Nagib, race 4 over 300 km, competing against 1,208 pigeons.
These results underline once again the power of our breeding lines and the promising future ahead.
