More top references with Eijerkamp descendants
The descendants of the super breeding pair 'Viton' x 'Daughter Goed Grijs' as well as our Heremans-Ceusters continue to prove that they can make the absolute difference. Time and again, they show their ability to win – exactly what every fancier is looking for. Below are once again some outstanding references from fanciers who, within a short period of time, demonstrate that Eijerkamp pigeons are competing at the very highest level everywhere like with the partnership Steffl (see picture above this article)
Andre Kohler: 1. Woldegk against 3,597 pigeons with 50% Eijerkamp
Andre Kohler from Lübbecke decided in 2024 to give his loft a quality boost. He got in touch with Hans and Evert-Jan Eijerkamp with a simple request: "I want good pigeons that can fly at the very front, but also pigeons that are not too large, because we race from the east (towards Poland) and therefore often face races with headwinds.". Henk Jurriens advised Andre on several pigeons and with immediate success. Three weeks ago, Andre already won 1. Magdeburg against 2,721 pigeons, bred from two direct Eijerkamp pigeons. Last weekend, Andre Kohler claimed another victory by winning 1. Woldegk (355 km) against 3,597 pigeons regionally, a competition involving six different federations. The winner was the yearling hen DV03904-25-0397 and this hen was bred from NL24-8209338NL24-8209338 ‘Silver’, a son of ‘Silver Power’,out of ‘Ferguson’ x Speedy Grizzle"Speedy Grizzle", paired to ‘Quiton’, a daughter of the golden breeding pair Viton"Viton" x Daughter Goed Grijs"Daughter Goed Grijs".

The mother of the winner is a direct pigeon from the Schlief-Stiens partnership, an almost pure Heremans-Ceusters pigeon, with famous names in the pedigree such as ‘Euro’, ‘Di Caprio’, and ‘Rossi’. Andre’s second pigeon, which won 26. prize in the RV - Federation, was bred from a direct son of the famous Geeloger"Geeloger".
To achieve two victories within two years with descendants of these Eijerkamp pigeons is an outstanding result. Who knows what more is yet to come from Andre’s lofts in Lübeck.
Steffl Partnership wins 1. Saarlouis against 1,785 pigeons with 50% Eijerkamp
Martin and Franz Steffl belong to the absolute elite of Germany. In 2024 they achieved both the 1. National Ace Cock and the 1. National Ace Hen of Germany. Yet their motto remains: standing still is moving backwards and that is why they decided in 2024 to acquire several Eijerkamp pigeons, especially a few grizzles to give their (grand)son Hannes extra motivation. Here too, the investment has paid off quickly, with two victories already within two years from descendants of these pigeons.
Two weeks ago, Martin and Franz Steffl won 1. Ueberherrn against 1,079 pigeons with a 50% Eijerkamp pigeon. Now these champions from Künzelsau have won 1. Saarlouis (214 km) against 1,785 pigeons. The father of this winner is the well-known ‘Tommy Lee’ of the partnership. The mother, NL24-8208033NL24-8208033, is a daughter of ‘Supergrizzle’, bred from a son of ‘Goed Grijs’ x "Grizzle Jet", paired to 'Jitters', 1. Provincial Sprint Ace Pigeon of Section 8 in 2022 and again a daughter of the top breeding pair ‘Viton’ x ‘Daughter Goed Grijs’.
A nice detail is that the nestmate of this winner represented Germany at the FCI Racing Pigeon Olympiad in the standard class, proving once again that beauty and performance can go hand in hand.

Team Skyflyer Hillenbrand-Kaiser successful in Derby Moledo
The Hillenbrand-Kaiser partnership from Sandberg / Rieden, consisting of Patrice Hillenbrand and Martin Kaiser, has now established a joint breeding loft and is performing very successfully in several OLR races. They also entered a number of pigeons in the Derby Moledo in Portugal. In Race 5 (303 km), where Hans and Evert-Jan Eijerkamp won 4. prize (see article of 'Mister Moledo') while the partnership Hillenbrand-Kaiser claimed 5. prize against 1,682 pigeons with their hen ‘Angelina’.
‘Angelina’ is half Eijerkamp, bred from NL21-1668806NL21-1668806 ‘Big Leo’, an inbred pigeon to "Olympic Leo" through son x daughter. Olympic Leo"Olympic Leo" was 2. National Ace cock of Germany at the lofts of the late Wolfgang Roeper and was later transferred to Brummen. The father of ‘Big Leo’ is 'Starlit', now already sire and grandsire of multiple first-prize winners and this line is now also proving its excellence in OLR racing.
In this 303 km race, Patrice and Martin had no fewer than 7 pigeons in the Top 65, several of which were bred directly from Eijerkamp pigeons. One week after this top performance, ‘Angelina’ scored again by winning 56. against 1,537 pigeons. With four Top 150 positions to her name, ‘Angelina’ is undoubtedly one of the better pigeons for Team Skyflyer Hillenbrand-Kaiser in Portugal.
