August gives us again super Eijerkamp References 2026 (Part 1)
There is nothing more satisfying than hearing from fanciers who are achieving outstanding results with Eijerkamp pigeons.
For us, the real proof of a breeding programme is what happens in the lofts of successful other pigeon fanciers. Results on the race course tell the story, and once again, 2026 is producing some fantastic references from Eijerkamp pigeons and their descendants.
From the Netherlands to Germany, the Eijerkamp influence continues to make itself felt at the highest level.
Peter van Vliet another Eijerkamp winner
Peter van Vliet from Utrecht (The Netherlands) recently sent us news of an impressive performance by his 2026 youngster NL26-8475822NL26-8475822. This is a grandchild of our beautiful breeding hen Jeanne D'Arc NL20-1250002NL20-1250002 paired with our alltime favorite breeder Bor NL17-1647730NL17-1647730. Motherside it's a grandchild of our Lady Roye NL21-1062546NL21-1062546, she won herself 1. Regional Ace Allround and 1. Regional Ace Short-Distance in 2023.
"Good morning" NL26-847582226-8475822 won 1st prize Rayon 152 km and 2nd prize in the combine!
This race from Bierges took place on 16-08-2026, Peter won 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 18 etc. against 668 pigeons (afdeling 5 Sam Rivierenland-Utrecht).

J&M Hameeteman the fastest of 6,315 Pigeons

On the race from Lennik, the first pigeon from, Jim and Mick Hameeteman, was once again a descendant of Antonio NL23-9101168NL23-9101168, a pigeon originating from Eijerkamp, bought in our webshop. Antonio is a son of our breeder Golddigger NL22-8230575NL22-8230575. Golddigger is already father of 2. Provincial Ace Pigeon Middle Distance in 2025. His father is our super breeder Luka Modric, winner of multiple big prizes like 1. National Ace Young NPO, PIPA, Fondspiegel and de Allerbeste in 2018. Luka Modric was paired to Lady Hawk NL19-1667359NL19-1667359, she is mother of multiple top racing and breeding pigeons and a daughter of the famous Murphys Law NL17-1279282NL17-1279282 from Willem de Bruijn.
Mick's message says it all: "Yesterday (15-08-2026) at Lennik 114 km our first pigeon was once again one out of ‘Antonio’ who came from you! He was 1st against 2,137 pigeons and the fastest of 6,315 pigeons." That is the kind of result every breeder loves to see.

Henk Douna another strong Eijerkamp reference
What a way to start the Natour!
Henk Douna from Donkerbroek made an immediate statement in the first Natour race 15-08-2026 from Duiven, 117km against no fewer than 14,400 pigeons. Henk’s team came flying in, taking 2nd and 6th overall and that was just the beginning.
The second pigeon was the outstanding Sifan NL24-8045027, a daughter of Subliem, himself bred from our famous Magnifiek NL18-1628439NL18-1628439. Sifan's dam is NL23-9099993NL23-9099993, a granddaughter of Secretariat. Sifan is certainly no stranger to the winner’s circle: she has already won 3rd Rethel against 11,293 pigeons, 4th Boxmeer against 14,010 pigeons and 1st Boxmeer against 642 pigeons.
In 6th place came Femke NL25-1095054NL25-1095054, bred from Magnifiek NL18-1628439NL18-1628439 x Ariana Geeloger NL24-8208523NL24-8208523. Femke has also shown her class this season, taking 7th Boxmeer against 6,259 pigeons.
The performance becomes even more impressive when we look at District 3 of Section Noord-West, where 5,226 pigeons were competing in which Henk Douna won the whole stage 1-2-3 !!!

Also Xandra has an impressive résumé of her own. Earlier this season she already won 1st Luyksgestel against 4,022 pigeons, took 5th Boxmeer against 14,010 pigeons, and added 16th Duiven against 14,362 pigeons.
16 out of 16 a true clean sweep
The icing on the cake? In both the District and the Section, Henk Douna achieved a sensational 16 out of 16. That means every single pigeon entered made the result sheet. A perfect start to the Natour, three exceptional hens at the very front, and a clean sweep that says everything about the quality of the Douna team. One thing is certain: Henk Douna Donkerbroek is a name to keep a very close eye on this season!
