August gives us again super Eijerkamp References 2026 (Part 2)
We are always delighted when fanciers come back to us with news of exceptional results. A good pigeon is never just about one race. The real value of a breeding line becomes clear when its descendants continue to perform, year after year, in different lofts and under different racing conditions.
These latest references from Peter Beentjes, Comb. van Rooij and Andre Köhler from Germany are another excellent example.
Peter Beentjes three descendants from our hen Nika among his First
Peter Beentjes from Heemskerk recently sent us a particularly interesting reference from the Natour race Duffel (157 km) in which he won 2-3-4-5-6-12-13-17 against 712 pigeons in district 3A in section 6 Noord-Holland.
Three youngsters bred from the same pair, NL20-1249966NL20-1249966 X NL23-9101702NL23-9101702, both original bred in Brummen were among his first pigeons home. The father is a co-breeding with Peter Beentjes from our 'Merlin', half-brother Luka Modrić"Luka Modric", with the '654 hen' who is ancestress at the Peter Beentjes loft. The NL23-9101702NL23-9101702 is a daughter of our super racing and breeding hen Nika NL22-8229044NL22-8229044 Nika was herzelf 1. Provincial Ace pigeon Speed/Natour afdeling 9 in 2023 and Nika is bred from Bor"Bor" and Jeanne D'Arc NL20-1250002NL20-1250002. Even more impressive, these three pigeons finished 3rd, 8th and 10th against 1,920 pigeons.

Peter Beentjes currently has 1., 2. and 4. Ace pigeon with the youngsters in Section 6 and preliminery the 1. Prov. Comb. van Rooij Eijerkamp Bloodlines winning more and more
The Van Rooij loft from Tull en 't Waal has once again enjoyed another strong performance with the offspring of their Eijerkamp pigeons. Over the years, they have purchased several very good pigeons in Brummen, and their offspring continue to perform at a high level for this successful partnership.
With the youngsters, they now won 1. Bierges against 1,445 pigeons with NL26-8530769. This is already the 5th prize card for this promising young cock, who previously won:
- 1. Bierges – 1,445 pigeons
- 8. Duffel – 3,869 pigeons
- 10. Cambrai – 980 pigeons
The father was purchased online from Eijerkamp. This cock, 'Vangelis', NL25-1095764NL25-1095764, was bred from 'Lexus' x 'Grizzle 429', representing some of the very best A&B Leideman bloodlines in the Eijerkamp loft. 'Lexus' is a full brother to 'Kittycat' and was bred from the famous 'Bor' x 'Moira', while 'Grizzle 429' was bred from a son of 'Beetle' paired to 'Rachel'. 'Grizzle 429' has already bred the 1. Provincial Weert against 10,682 pigeons, so once again the apple does not fall far from the tree!
The Van Rooij partnership has another outstanding youngster, also 50% Eijerkamp, bred from 'Marieke', NL21-1669206NL21-1669206. This talented young hen has already won, among others: 2. Bierges against 2,745 pigeons as well as 4. Duffel – 3,968 pigeons. 'Marieke' is a superb breeding hen in the loft for them and she is blesssed with the superlines of C&G Koopman paired to our Janssen x Van Loon as she is daughter for 'Paco Junior' and 'Lucifer'

One of the foundation breeders at the Van Rooij loft is 'Thunder Eye', NL18-1628936NL18-1628936, who has developed into a truly outstanding breeder and this son of Tanguy"Tanguy" is already father and grandfather to three major winners, as well as numerous top-performing racers in their loft.
One of their main pigeons this season is 'New Sabrina', a granddaughter of this exceptional breeder. 'New Sabrina' already became 25. National Ace Pigeon Yearlings last year and has continued her impressive performances this season, winning among others:
- 1. Morlincourt – 890 pigeons
- 7. National Issoudun – 5,786 pigeons
Once again, the Van Rooij loft proves the strength of the Eijerkamp bloodlines, with several generations performing at the highest level.
Another succes for Andre Köhler in Germany
The references do not stop at the Dutch border but also go often abroad like now to Lübbecke where Andre Köhler achieved another victory with the superb 'Olympic Leo' lines. After Andre won already a race with the olf pigeons, he now also succeeded with the youngsters in which the DV03904-25-0050 won 1. Wolfsburg against 1,857 pigeons with a speed of 1,441 m.p.m. The father is a son of 'Dsinghis Kan', NL18-1629724NL18-1629724' who is dreict son of Olympic Leo"Olympic Leo" when paired to "Ariana" Euro", a daughter of the legendary Euro"Euro" and Rosie"Rosie", so again the best of the Leo Heremans-Ceusters in the father which Andre paired to a cock from Horst and Frank Sander and grandson of the 'Olympic Hurricane' of Willem de Bruijn'
These references from Peter Beentjes, Van Rooij and Köhler show exactly why we place such importance on breeding quality pigeons.
A breeder can have the best-looking pedigree in the world, but ultimately the race results have to confirm it.
And that is what we continue to see with Eijerkamp pigeons and their descendants!
