A strong result against 1,161 pigeons
Final 2 of the Derby AviRings 2026 was flown over a distance of 501 km, with no fewer than 1,161 pigeons competing. The fact that Team Eijerkamp-Wolf and our team Hans and Evert-Jan Eijerkamp placed near the top of the field, underlines the quality of their breeding program.
Our pigeon NL26-8475389NL26-8475389, has proven his class before. Earlier this season, the same pigeon already claimed an excellent 28th place in Final 1 of the Derby AviRings 2026, also over 501 km. This strong result again in Final 2 confirms the consistency and top-level quality of this pigeon. He now won 36. Place in Final 2 501km.
An impressive pedigree for the 36. Place Winner
What makes this achievement even more special is the pedigree of NL26-8475389NL26-8475389. The father is none other than Little Prince 551, purchased directly from the renowned OLR breeder Henrik Brinkman. This pigeon is a very special son of Prince Finn and Little Finn, the winner of the 1st Final Victoria Falls OLR over 598 km, against 2,271 pigeons.
