This is a report of the first race of 2021..
As in recent years, we have again basketed pigeons on two names.
Hans and Evert Jan Eijerkamp 69 pigeons and Lotte Eijerkamp 60 pigeons.

The result was immediately smashing with 1, 2 and 3 against 6,000 pigeons.
The first pigeon was a granddaughter of our great breeding cock Olympic Hans"Olympic Hans".
As a young pigeon, this hen also performed great.

In the everlasting dream to create a breeding team of the highest quality, NPO Vierzon winner Blizzard"Blizzard" now also moves into the breeding loft.
Hans and Evert-Jan Eijerkamp always looking for the best pigeons possible in their breeding loft with fantastic origins. Living to the motto: you must reap what you have sown. They firmly believe that super genetics are the cardinal factors for all top pigeons. All super pigeons must have super origins in their veins, but not all super veins breed good pigeons. Pigeons of super origins increase the chance to breed good or super ones… without top genes it is impossible to breed the ones they searching for and so Blizzard"Blizzard" now paired up with the crop of the crème to pass on her skills and genetics.
The National race of Vierzon was one of the toughest One-Day Long distance races in the 2021 season in which the Eijerkamp train made a fantastic result. The pigeons were released at 9.45 hrs. to cover a distance for 616 km to the Eijerkamp lofts in Brummen. The first pigeon clocked at 18.31.04 was, NL20-1248550NL20-1248550, Blizzard"Blizzard" who was fastest in Amalgamation 8 against 3,993 pigeons with a speed of 1,170 m.p.m. In the national result against 810,138 pigeons, she won 4th position in the National Section 3.

Blizzard"Blizzard", winner of 1. NPO Vierzon
The yearling hen Blizzard"Blizzard" was winner of this tough race and seeing the genetics for her as well as her previous results, this did not come by itself. Blizzard"Blizzard" has the golden genes for the superb Van Loon lines in combination with the line for Olympic Hans"Olympic Hans" which is getting more and more influence on top performances achieved at the Eijerkamp lofts.

Before the start of the 2021 season, he brooks his wing which destroyed his racing career but perhaps this supposed to be as he now is in the breeding loft in order to pass on his golden genes to his offspring for which Blizzard"Blizzard" is the first proven daughter already.
His father Olympic Hans"Olympic Hans" is true superstar as he represented the Netherlands at the Brussels Olympiade in 2017 in which he was bought from the late Hans Boenders. In the meantime the genes for Olympic Hans"Olympic Hans" are very dominant as he is father, grand- and great grandfather to many winners and Ace pigeons at all levels of the pigeonsport.
