The team consists of besides Freek of, Bram Scherpenzeel (breeder), Albert Hendriksen (ICT), Gerard Veltmaat from Wijchen (caretaker of Freek’s breeding pigeons), the loyal supporters, Rinie Vos from Voorst ( Freek’s childhood friend and supporter since 1987), Jaap Hupkes from Voorst, Freek’s 90 year old mother Toos and last but not least his crutch and entrusted partner José.
Gerard Veltmaat joined the team in January 2019 and now takes care of the breeding pigeons due to Freek’s allergies.
Gerard has always had racing pigeons but stopped in 2018. However, he missed the daily visits to his loft and the bond he had with his pigeons, he offered his help when Freek made it know he was looking for someone to care for his breeders.
